How VIDAEasy works

VIDAEasy is a single app. When you open it, you choose your country — currently Germany (further editions such as Mexico are in preparation) — and get the guides, checklists, templates, map and assistant made for where you live. Every edition follows the same principles: it works fully offline and keeps your information on your device.

Data we handle

VIDAEasy stores your information exclusively on your device. This may include:

• Profile details (name, city, residence/visa type, arrival date)
• Documents you add (stored locally in secure storage)
• Appointments, payments and reminders you create
• Housing, contract, insurance and other details you enter

We do not collect, transmit or store any of your personal data on external servers.

Offline assistant

The in-app assistant works fully offline. It answers from a knowledge base built into the app on your device. Your messages are never sent to any external server and are not used to train any model.

Location

The map feature can request your device location to show nearby offices (in Germany: Bürgeramt, Ausländerbehörde and similar; in Mexico: SAT, IMSS, INM and similar). Location is used only in real time to center the map and is never stored, logged or transmitted.

Photos & files

When you attach a photo or file to a document, it is saved on your device only. We never upload your photos or files to any server.

Notifications

VIDAEasy uses local notifications to remind you about appointments, payments and deadlines. They are generated entirely on-device. No notification content is transmitted anywhere.

Official sites & external links

When you open an official government site (for example gov.uk-style portals such as sat.gob.mx, imss.gob.mx, gob.mx/inm, or German portals) or any external page from the app, you connect directly with that site, subject to its own policies. VIDAEasy adds no personal data to those requests; which sites you opened is kept only on your device (see section 09).

Purchases & subscriptions

VIDAEasy Pro is an auto-renewing monthly subscription (9,99 € / month, optional yearly plan) processed by Apple through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your App Store settings. Earlier one-time “Premium” purchases remain unlocked. We do not receive or store your payment details. There are no ads.

Third-party services

VIDAEasy does not send your personal data to any third party and uses no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDKs.

Job search. When you search for vacancies in the app, the keyword, place and filter you typed are sent directly to the job source — the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) and, where enabled, the job search engine Jooble. No name, account or device identifier is sent; we do not receive or store your searches. Security. Documents use iOS data protection, insurance data is kept in the Keychain, the app hides its content in the app switcher and can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.

Partner links. Some links are marked “Partner” (comparison portals, insurers, banks, telecom and language providers). If you sign a contract or open an account on a partner website, the partner may pay VIDAEasy a commission. This never costs you extra and never changes what we recommend — official authorities and free options are always listed too. The app sends no personal data to partners; it only adds a partner identifier and the name of the app screen to the link. Any tracking happens on the partner’s website under its own privacy policy. Which partner links you opened is counted locally on your device (More → Partner links & transparency) and can be deleted there at any time.

Anonymous statistics (optional, off by default). To learn which partner programmes are useful, the app can send — only if you turn this on — aggregated counters at most twice a day — for example “3 taps on CHECK24 from the insurance screen on 24 Sep”. These counters contain no name, no device or advertising identifier, no documents, no saved links and no custom map pins, and our server does not store IP addresses. Nothing is sent unless you switch it on in More → Partner links & transparency, where the exact data is shown; you can switch it off again at any time.

Configuration file. The app also downloads a small public configuration file with current partner identifiers from our server (hosted on Cloudflare). This request carries no personal data; like any web request it is technically processed by the hosting provider (IP address, transiently, for delivery).

Deleting your data

You can delete all your data anytime via Profile (your picture on the Home screen) → Delete Profile. This removes all locally stored data from your device. Since we store nothing on a server, no further step is required. Deleting the app from your device also removes its data.

Your rights

Because VIDAEasy keeps your data on your device and WompSolutions holds no personal data about you on any server, you are in direct control: you can view, correct, export or erase your information at any time inside the app.

Where they apply, you also have the rights granted by the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection — and, in Mexico, the ARCO rights under the Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP): Access, Rectification, Cancellation and Opposition. As we do not hold your personal data, most requests are fulfilled directly on your device; for anything else, contact us below.

VIDAEasy is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any government institution. The information is for general guidance only — always verify details and dates with the official sources.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
