WompSolutions built the DEasy app. This page explains what data the app handles, how it’s used, and the choices you have. In short: almost nothing leaves your phone.
On-device
All personal data is stored locally, not on our servers.
No tracking
No analytics, no ads, no third-party tracking.
Encrypted
Sensitive data is protected in the iOS Keychain.
Data we collect
DEasy stores all personal data exclusively on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. This includes:
- Personal profile information (name, city, arrival date, visa type)
- Documents you upload (stored locally in secure storage)
- Calendar events and reminders you create
- Housing contract and insurance details
We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data on external servers.
Offline assistant
The in-app assistant works fully offline. It answers your questions from a built-in knowledge base stored on your device. Your messages are never sent to any external server and are not used to train any model.
Location data
The map feature requests your device location to show nearby services. Location is used only in real time to center the map and is never stored, logged, or transmitted to any server.
Photos & files
When you attach a photo or file to a document, it is saved locally on your device only. We never upload your photos or files to any server.
Notifications
DEasy uses local notifications to remind you about events and document expiry. They are generated entirely on-device. No notification content is transmitted anywhere.
Third-party services
DEasy does not send your data to any third party.
Job search. When you search for vacancies in the app, the keyword, place and filter you typed are sent directly to the job source — the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) and, where enabled, the job search engine Jooble. No name, account or device identifier is sent; we do not receive or store your searches. Security. Documents use iOS data protection, insurance data is kept in the Keychain, the app hides its content in the app switcher and can be locked with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
Partner links. Some links are marked “Partner” (comparison portals, insurers, banks, telecom and language providers). If you sign a contract or open an account on a partner website, the partner may pay DEasy a commission. This never costs you extra and never changes what we recommend — official authorities and free options are always listed too. The app sends no personal data to partners; it only adds a partner identifier and the name of the app screen to the link. Any tracking happens on the partner’s website under its own privacy policy. Which partner links you opened is counted locally on your device (More → Partner links & transparency) and can be deleted there at any time.
Anonymous statistics (optional, off by default). To learn which partner programmes are useful, the app can send — only if you turn this on — aggregated counters at most twice a day — for example “3 taps on CHECK24 from the insurance screen on 24 Sep”. These counters contain no name, no device or advertising identifier, no documents, no saved links and no custom map pins, and our server does not store IP addresses. Nothing is sent unless you switch it on in More → Partner links & transparency, where the exact data is shown; you can switch it off again at any time.
Configuration file. The app also downloads a small public configuration file with current partner identifiers from our server (hosted on Cloudflare). This request carries no personal data; like any web request it is technically processed by the hosting provider (IP address, transiently, for delivery).
Purchases & subscriptions
VIDAEasy Pro (DEasy) is an auto-renewing monthly subscription (9,99 € / month, optional yearly plan) processed by Apple through your Apple ID. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel it in your App Store settings. Earlier one-time “Premium” purchases remain unlocked. We do not receive or store your payment details. There are no ads.
Data deletion
You can delete all your data anytime via Profile (your picture on the Home screen) → Delete Profile. This removes all locally stored data from your device. Since we store nothing on a server, no further step is required.
Children’s privacy
DEasy is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
